What makes for the perfect hotel fitness experience?

Take a look at the video courtesy of CNN below. John Tolbert, president and managing director of Boca Raton Resort & Club explains why he chose Orange Theory to work with on this fitness initiative.

“Orange Theory Fitness and its strong science-backed foundation tied in well with our idea of mind, body and soul,” says John.

“We want to enrich our guests, our members and our team members to support them every day. We have an amazing fitness centre; we were able to block that off and create an on-board Orange Fitness studio.

“We have the best instructors, the best food, beverages and experiences to combine in a total wellness programme.”

meeting member and fitness enthusiast needs

Fitness where the people need it.

Kevin Keith, chief brand officer for Orange Theory explains the importance of meeting member and fitness enthusiast needs, rather than providing a gym service that may not be met with as much enthusiasm.

“We have so many members that travel whether for business or vacation, so we thought ‘why don’t we try and actually go where they’re going?’” he tells CNN.

“When you come to a pop-up, you’re going to get an idea of some of the innovation from a technology standpoint and all the other components of the experience. You’ll get a little taste of where we’re headed.

“One of the reasons this works in a hotel is you have all walks of life coming through here. We cater to every fitness ability and nearly every age. It’s a great opportunity for – whoever you’re travelling with or having leisure with – to share an experience of getting fit together, wherever you are in that journey.”
