TIYR.
The TIYR is soft yet very strong, simple but innovative. It’s also super tough, just like the real thing. The TIYR is a challenge for all users regardless of their ability, thanks to four weight and size options.
The handles on the TIYR are used for lifting and carrying, and as attachment points for Battle Ropes. They need to be ultra-tough, which is why on the new, upgraded TIYR they are made from CORDURA® – a supremely tough fabric that has proved its ability to resist abrasion, tears and scuffs in everything from hiking boots to military equipment.
Forget scrap tyres, welcome to the Escape TIYR
The Escape Fitness TIYR® maintains the rawness of flipping tractor tyres but delivers all the original fitness challenges. Precision built using recycled foam, the TIYR has none of the disadvantages associated with using dirty scrap tyres.
Working with the TIYR is great for developing whole body strength and power, and adds an interesting and challenging element to functional training. Flipping scrap tyres can be difficult, especially if the tyre is of a large diameter because at chest height it still isn't close to passing its tipping point. With the Escape TIYR all the mass is spreading evenly so being shorter isn't a disadvantage.

The Escape 100kg x 100m TIYR challenge.
The TIYR is excellent for introducing competitions and challenges to the gym floor. We took the TIYR down to a local athletics track for the ultimate test - a 100m sprint flipping our 100kg TIYR.
